About Me

Hello,

My name is Richard Adams and I want to say upfront that I believe very strongly in the rights to privacy that our constitution guarantees us. That is what had me in a dilemma for a long time. With the world we live in becoming such an unsafe place, I wanted to protect my family and business (I am a home remodeling contractor) as much as possible. One way to do this is to be sure about the type of people who are our neighbors, the boys my daughter is dating, the coach of my young son’s soccer team, the people I employ, the suppliers I deal with and so on. But when I protect my family’s privacy, how could I go and check up on others? After much soul searching, my wife and I decided that we had no choice – our family’s safety was paramount.

But we couldn’t use a PI to check up on everyone we come across or the family interacts with. Besides being ridiculously time consuming and expensive, we would look paranoid. Having decided that we needed to check up on the backgrounds of people whom we deal with, socially and professionally, we started to look for a quick and cost effective way of doing it. Importantly, it had to be discrete so that the people we were checking up on wouldn’t know about it and neither would our kids. You know what teenagers are like – if our daughter found out we were checking up on her boyfriend, who never talks about his family, we would never have heard the end of her comments on oppressive and controlling parents!

Anyway, to cut a long story short, after some searching we came across Intelligator. Its an online service that gives you access to public arrest records. Sitting at home, you can search public criminal arrest records, public DUI arrest records, public arrest warrant records and much more. It’s discrete – only my wife and I know that we have done these searches so no one gets upset or takes offense. And its cost effective – for just a few dollars a month, I can check up on everyone who could impact my family or business.

The service searches through a range of arrest records and gives all the information you need to decide how to relate to people – whether to trust them or not; whether they should be your friends or business associates or if you stay away from them.

I’ve done a lot of searches and up to now I have found only one employee with a DUI he kept secret. And my daughter’s boyfriend is okay – I guess he just doesn’t talk much. The main thing is that with Intelligator I can now be sure whom I and my family are dealing with.

Best,

Richard
